The 5th GA took place on 19th November 2020, as online meeting. The focus of this meeting was to present the work carried out during the past months and the impact of Covid-19 on the current and future activities of the project. A technical workshop regarding WP2 was also held to discuss the open issues and the finalisation of the CAD file for the battery housing.
The project partners will start prototyping the different components of the battery system in 2021. Once the different components are manufactured, the assembly of the battery system will take place at IMECAR facilities. In parallel, the SELFIE partners are working on the development of an optimal thermal management system control strategy for the battery thermal management system.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic is causing cancellations of physical events, SELFIE partners will put more efforts in publications of papers in scientific conferences and journals during the next months.
